THREE Days to Go!!

Yow!! You bet I'm excited. Some awesome things in the cooker over here in Harwood-land and I'm getting even more excited as we get closer to June 3rd for JP2 episode 1. What can I tell you now? It's going to be a long one. (I have to make up for what most've you've already heard by my leak and on Scott Sigler and Podcast411.) It's going to have some awesome music at the front end and I'm not going to talk too much about what I'm up to.

Twists and turns, and they're all going to come from the fiction!
Bring it on, I say!

Jack Palms II: This Is Life--One Week to Go!!

Here we are, one week away. And you can be sure it's going to kick ass! Listen for me on Podcast411 today to hear more (and the sneak preview).

Posting

Hey, Is there someone who actually checks this thing? Looks like there is. I better get my ass back into the mode where I'm POSTING. Here's where I am now: just posted the last story for A Long Way from Disney (until fall). It's called Walden, and it completes the story arc with Cari/Corinne that started in Too Early. Sorry if there's a name change confusion. I now know to fix that if/when this book ever goes to print.

What else is new? I've got a pdf of Jack Wakes Up to show you now. Check it out if you're into on-computer reading (or if you want to get re-caught up before JP2). It's here.
What else? I'm on break between classes, I'm trying to get further along into JP2-Part 2, which so far has about 8 chapters and is... not sure how many words long. 10,000? For some reason Scrivener crapped out on the word-counting. Ok. I fixed it, kind of. I'll have to tell them about that.

Enjoy your memorial day weekends, enjoy Walden, and if you're in the Bay Area, make sure to come to Sigler/Harwood Beer Night I: June 2nd, House of Shields, SF. Close to Montgomery St. BART. 8pm. Be there!

Me + Interviews

Getting crazy hectic over here with the JP2 frenzy in full swing. If you haven't told every last person you know about it (or at least those who will have some idea what you mean when you say the word "podcast") you're not doing your job.

I'm out and about this week and should be for a little while: you can hear Mike Bennett (of One Among the Sleepless) interview me on his new show Bonus Track HERE. It's also at oneamongthesleepless.com. So's he.
There'll be a second part of that interview (the part to cover This Is Life) coming out next month.

And this weekend, May 12th at 2PM PST, I'll be on Writers Talking, a LIVE call-in talk/interview show to discuss my writing with another guest. The topic is REVISION. Yes, get on there and listen in. You'll be able to type in questions to ask me or even say them yourself on the show. Awesome! The show's at writerstalking.com. From there, you have to download "Talkshoe" but it's free and they won't bother you and then you're right onto the live air. You're even "in" the chat room. It's kinda cool. Be there. I will.

Winter in stands now!

Fellow writer and podcaster Steve McDermott, of Storyglossia and JWU #20 (the Q&A) fame--basically he's an awesome writer--his first book of stories has just come out and it's right here on Amazon.com:

Winter of<br />Different Directions by Steven J. McDermott

Check it out. You've heard him on a few of my podcasts, you've heard me talk about him, and right now you can hear me on his latest story

You'll be glad you did. This is one awesome collection of stories.
